Lecture description:

Trauma is a common presenting complaint through any veterinary hospital which can make it challenging to navigate the more unstable and more critically injured patients. Approaching these patients with systematic assessment and therapy while recognizing potential complications can be very helpful. This lecture is designed to help clinicians recognize some of these moments and expand on therapy options prior to referral to help stabilize these patients. At the end of this presentation, the participants will have a better comfort level with assessment, stabilization and initial therapies with critical or significant polytrauma cases.

This lecture has been RACE-approved for 2.0 hours of CE for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
