This lecture will focus on cardiac electrophysiology at a basic level to give the technician a better understanding of how the heart functions in a coordinated manner as a pump, and the specific role that ions play in this process. The talk will also explain in depth how cardiac electrophysiology relates to the ECG reading, what ECG's tells us, and explain the limiting factors of ECG's as well as exposing the technician to some lead 2 interpretation.
